Temptation

Can someone please tell me how I am to be expected to go to church today when at 9:53 a.m. it is already 67 degrees? I really would like to have a "sick" child today. Does anyone have a dog I can tend? Sick tadpole?

No?

Okay. Guess I'll go.

Dang eternal salvation.

I went to the 4:30 Sat mass and so glad I did. With the beautiful weather yesterday I knew if it was like that today I'd have trouble getting motivated. I even managed to get a little bit of sun yesterday. Hopefully I'll head out for some more with my little man today. Enjoy the weather!

Oh, that's no fun at all. Are you on the 1pm start time? If so, its not too late. Come on, have some faith. Vomit can happen pretty fast. Lace their chocolate milk with some Ipecac syrup. You didn't hear that idea from me.

Oh, the moral quandary. I have been known to ask my kids "how are you feeling?" unneccessarily often. Sometimes they get the hint :).

Hope you have sunshine tomorrow too!

Why is weather always the best on Sunday? Dang temptations!

Yes, I have a sick child (flu), but I don't think you'd want him just yet. Although, here in the south, you'd have several more beautiful days to play!! I hope you get to enjoy the weather some today.

Hope someone got sick.

Here's another temptation for you....YOUR COOKIES! Yummy. I just made them. mmmmm.

Making your cookies made me think of my "much more OCD than you" Aunt. She counts out the chocolate chips for every cookie. Big chips=4 chips per cookie, regular chips= 7. Or something like that. I don't remember the exact number, but you get the idea. The CRAZY idea.

Hope the sun is still shining! Have a great Sabbath. I'm gonna go eat another cookie!

Too bad you couldn't borrow Levi for a while. He was sick. And I had to teach RS. Nope, I didn't call in sick. Are you proud, evil twin?

You should have just stayed home.

I'm sure that Dan will vouch for you in the after life.

After all he goes to church enough for the two of you combined ;)

That eternal salvation is always the clincher. It was beautiful today here, too. But, we went anyway. Hopefully that will rack up some kudos for the eternities!

I was sick today, so you could have watched me. But, oh yeah - I went anyways because it was my first time to teach the YW's lesson as the new YW President today and I felt an obligation to be there.
Why can't I just be irresponsible like the other 98% of the planet?!

Amen! But oh, didn't it feel so great walking out of church into that beautiful warm weather? I loved it, but I heard there's a possibility of snow tomorrow. YUCK! And, our cousins are sick again....here comes another round. OK, now I'm just rambling.

I just hope there is a lot of warm weather waiting in for us if we do go to Church...right now, that's motivation enough for me.

Every Sunday for the last 5 weeks has been beautiful here and no other days. Just Sundays. It's a trial of our faith.

Hopefully since you went, God will bless you with a weeks worth of sunny days! I'll keep my fingers crossed for you. :0)

Okay...so I am not going to tell you that I was in 70 degree weather all weekend. I will not let you know that I stayed in a fabulous home on the water. I am not going to utter a word that I had no kids, lots of yummy food and we SCRAPBOOKED all weekend... not a word! (OH and I did miss church... is there hope for my eternal salvation?)
Next time I will invite you...
mm-kay?

Happy to see I'm not the only one!! I guess if you have to be indoors it should be on a not so nice day. Right??

You didn't feel a headache coming on? Girl, you can't always leave it up to someone else, sometimes you have to take matters in your own hands.
